I didn't find anything cool in mine! Now it just has my lug nut key, a few photos and....*gasp* I also have a condom! You just never know when my mom with walk down the driveway and yell in front of the neighbors "have fun and don't forget to take a condom" . Now she knows I have one, doesn't yell and I don't have to run away red!

i checked mine too and nothing. i had to pry it open with a screwdriver to get it to open. i figured as hard as it was to open there must be somthing good in there.

Empty at purchase. It now packs deposit slips, receipts for parts, and business cards. Boring I know.
But I keep my emergency pea shooter (22) in the other secret spot.

I 've owned 3 dsm's and have 2 currently (95 for 4 years, 90 for 8 months). I've taken the console area apart on all 3 several times, never have I seen any damn hidden compartment.

Well after I gather myself from the embarassment of such an oversite, I put on my shoes and walk out in the rain to look.......

The Eclipse is closer, so I open the door, full of anticipation. As I shine the flashlight towards the console, I see the fabled "secret compartment". As I try to open it, it's surprisingly hard to open. Finally it opens and........empty:thumbdown .

So I head towards the Talon, open the passenger side door and open the console. I see a similar but smaller door. Open it and.......nothing:thumbdown .

Anyway guys, thanks for the insight on the console. I don't think that either car's secret console had ever been opened before. I'm the 3rd owner of both cars. It was the cleanest area I've seen in either, especially the 1G. I'm going to track down the guy who bought my laser and see if their's anything in their.

Where is this compartment located, i found the one on the lid of the armrest, but is there another one there, i know that you can take out the peice with the cup holder/ ashtray. That isnt it is it?
