Whats a good palm for logging

I have a keyocera smart phone that I was using for logging, but the battery and phone part have gone bad. A new battery is like 70 bucks not worth it I might as well buy a new palm. So here is my question what is a good basic color palm model that has a serial and usb hookup. Also that is not real expensive and can run mmcd.

So would I. They can be had for relatively little on eBay, and there are HotSync-Serial/USB adapters available for them.

ok I looked at it on the ebay and that is exactally what I want. But do I need a cradle I just want to mount the palm to the dash and not use a cradle or do I need it for the hotsync to my laptop. I just need like a car charger that I can hard wire in and a serial cable to plug into the bottom of it and a usb cable to plug into my laptop, because it doesnt have a serial port.

No, you can get a straight cable; cradle's aren't necessary, and would be too cumbersome for mounting in the car.

Sweet, I have to use a cradle with my phone and it sucks. This will be much better.

It's the one I have. My first one got broken, and just recently got another IIIc for like 20$ shipped from ebay.
