I've been debating for a while whether to go with a 20g, t3/t4 50trim, a 60-1. or possibly a SBR GT11 or GT12.... Anyone FWD running BB turbos? Is it true that ball bearing for a fwd would just spin the wheels in the lower gears? seems alot of people around here have a 20g or 50trim and i just wanted to have something to stand out such as a gt11 or 12..... thanks in advance for any recommendations or help....

well i supose i would decide after i knew what type of suspension i had, if i had a lsd or some slicks or what to help traction

if i had suspension, lsd, and slicks i would go with a big ball bearing turbo and probly a two stage boost controller.

if i wasn't getting any i would assume i never wanted that fast of a car and would get one of the 16g's.

suspension and all is stock but eventually ill be getting an LSD and defiantly have a pair of slicks...... if i kept the boost down until everything suspension wise was down would it be just as good as say getting a 20G and running it full boost wise.

Your AWD though..... so traction is no problem for you. but anyways what are you comments on the 3 turbos u ran?

small 16g with most all bolt ons. hoping for 330+whp afted my rebuild
tractions deffinatly an issue as it stands right now

evo 3 16g here but im bored with it. im goin bigger but dont know what

as traction goes i can spin 2nd with ease all the way to redline.. even with the b&m insert...but with the dr's on i have great traction :)

I'm currently running a BB 57trim T3/T4 turbo with a 50 shot. But I have plans to run a T67/T3 in the long run. I have Tokico Illunimas and springs right now, but I'm going to be getting a set of Tein Flex coil-overs. I also have a Kaaz LSD right now as well, matched with a set of M&H slicks. I will be running poly motor mounts all around too, and I'm in the process of developing and fabbing up a traction bar setup similar to what most of the fast Hondas run. As well as fabbing up some limiting straps to make sure the slicks stay planted. But like someone stated before, you will most likely always be traction limited.

no for a 1g

i like the feeling of going up an onramp steping on it in 3rd gear and the car lites the tires up. The car kinda starts sliding to the left then the right kinda makes the people behind u go WTF

i donno I like big turbos on FWDs casue its a interstate monster

I had a small 16g @ 16psi with no fuel mods or exhaust and at the top of first the tires would break loose to red line, same with second gear. I could chirp them into 5th gear.

Then I had a big16g and every supporting mod, Once I got the translator on, The car never ran as strong as the small 16g again.

Now I have a Garrett to4b, Still, The car isnt running strong like it should. I guess it hasto be tuned really bad. My friend with a b16g,exhaust,safc,uicp.. could beat me. :)

plz tell me with all your mods thats not your current trap and 1/4.....
If you were refering to me then my current mods are listed in my profile. Atleast the majority of them. I'm at the point where I start forgetting things now. My trap and MPH in my avatar is from my S16G setup and with my automatic tranny. Been building the current setup for a couple of years now, so no result yet from the current setup.

If you don't mind can you post some pics or send me a PM, that is if you have any. I here the interstate monster idea. My friend has a 600+ WHP Integra that can't get traction at 120 MPH on regular street tires. But it stills hauls like a bat out of hell.
