Well I got my 1st DSM a year ago, bone stock. 2 Months after i bought it the engine blew and finally now everything is coming together. I purchased a jdm 6-bolt along with the rest of the parts that are in my profile. I took my car to Pina Motorsports to get the work done on the car, and they are almost done. Only problem is, is that i now have 2 blown 14b's, a blown one on my original engine and a blown one on my jdm engine :toobad: . So now im having a big 16g installed in place of the tiny blown 14b :thumb: . I was just wondering what to expect from the car from its original state, and if there are any problems that might occur from upgrading my turbo before I have the supporting mods.....Im planning on getting DSM Link before I put on a 3inch exhaust, injectors, and fuel pump.

Well since you dont already have the 3in exhaust you shouldnt see any boost creep, so thats a plus. This will make it alot easier to run a lower boost level (which youll need to without fuel mods) without having to do alot of porting. Did you have any specific questions or where you just feeling around for possible problems and advice?

That is about as high as you want to run on your stock fuel system. I would make it priority #1 to get yourself a full fuel system upgrade as well as DSM-Link like you had mentioned. Any more questions?

Until you upgrade your other components I don't know if I would even run that much boost. I would ###### try to keep it around 7-9 psi. Just so that you make sure to not mess anything up. Because that would suck if you messed that engine up also.

So do you think i should step up to dsm link, some 660's and a supra pump before I do anything else???? In the long run im looking to get 350 hp on pump, 400-450 on race fuel

He can run 12psi safely as long as he doesnt exceed it. You will also need a AFPR for that larger fuel pump.

350hp on pump with a 16G can be done, but it will require alot of supporting mods as well as a really good tune. You wont be seeing 400whp with a 16G unless you are on one hell of a built motor running around 30psi. 350-360 on race gas is more reasonable with a damn good setup. Expect your standard 20psi street tune (with a a few supporting mods) to be about 300hp depending on variables.

Fuel system and DSM-Link is #1 priority.
