what to do with my gsx

First off I have a 97 GSX that has godspeed parts on it such as bfmic 16g and header it has a 6 bolt block with 7 bolt head with ARP studs has wally 255 with rewire car came with 660 injectors but aren't installed has not been tuned has gauges turbo timer I am wondering if I should buy a dsmlink and take it to get tuned or wait to get it tuned until I can afford to put quality parts on it and not eBay junk. The car runs great but has alot of potential. And reccomendations would be great! I am really interested in upgrading turbo to something like a 50 trim or hx35 but don't have that big of a budget right now since I just got car about a month ago.

Buy a mhi turbo and a 2g manifold, or fp race manifold..The godspeed intercooler aint sooo bad.

Yes get link, install injectors, and afpr,get tuned.

Maintenance if you haven't already done it (timing components, water pump, etc.) unless if you bought it off of someone you trust.

Sorry I don't know what you mean by 2g manifold do you mean just a stock manifold off of a gst or GSX?

Yeah or one that fits the 2nd gen (95-99)

OK thanks for all the replies. Is there a big difference in link lite and link? And if you was on a budget would you buy used or just buy new I'm talking about link to be clear

I would suggest stick with what you have for now since they work don't expect them to work for a long time tho specially the turbo but get dsmlink and tune it and when that turbo die get a quality one your budget might be better by then!

+1 to this, I had an ebay turbo and i blew it up after 10k miles (But I beat on it and then put too much oil in without realizing which blew the seals on it instantly, still ran just smoked a lot.)
I say DSMlink lite, install injectors and a FPR, aslong as you have done all Maintenance.
