What to do next?

My mods are listed in my profial and my best run was 11.8, I want to improve my time. I know ECM Link v3 is recommended, but I am pretty happy with the tune I have now, thus I see no reason to buy v3 to change anything. Any good mods around 500 bucks? Must be streetable as this is my daily driver.

If you're in the 11s you should really know what you need by now..
It looks like you don't have a decent suspension, but you can't buy that for $500 - but not much in that speed range is going to make you faster for $500.

What size injectors/turbo do u have right now? What about motor mounts, throttle body, e85?

No injectors listed in profile..E85 is not a bad idea but you don't want to change the tune..

If you have 500 saved, you should save another 500 and get coilovers..Changing your body mounts to prothane i think it's called would be a plus for you as well..

My bad I must have overlooked that, I have precision PTE 880cc injectors. I have megan racing lowering springs.

Ya i saw the springs how do those ride btw, a little hard? What is that a 2 inch drop?

880's are Kinda small for e85..But injectors are cheaper than 500 bones.. But then like I said you would have to retune..

Eventually down the road your going to have to get more in the suspension, than just springs..

You don't need hawk pads my friend..Although they are really badass..You can get friction master ceramic pads now for under 50 bux..And theres another cheaper brand I just put on my girls avenger that were around 30 and stop waaaay better than the oem pads..And ceramic pads do cut down on dust by over 50% i'd say..

The springs ride nice if you like sport suspension and it is lowered 2 inches. E85 is not an option the closest station that carries it is 20 miles from my town I have done little things to my suspension like new CV shafts and sway bars endlinks, but nothing too serious.

I would go suspension..If you really want to get the most out of your ride..Suspension is like a huge turbo..Expensive but in the end worth it..Springs are not enough but do help.


I would also add what bullsye 60-1 turbo you have to your profile..I'm guessing it's a 200 series tho..

Sorry yes 200 Im running 19psi on 93 octane right now. I have thought about methonal injection, but I am worried about it detonating

Just replaced the manifold, tires still have good tread, MSW Rims. I am not afraid to tune just don't see a point in buying v3 if I have no reason to retune.

Injection is going to up your power..Suspension is going to give you a better launch.

You make valid points, and I appreciate your responses. I think I launch pretty well for running 11s in a fwd I set my two step to 4k and launch in 2nd. I could launch better but a fwd car will never grab as well on launch, thus why I am hesitant to build the suspension too much. Just my thoughts after thinking for awhile.

Be careful with upgrading injectors, if you upgrade you have to make sure your fuel pump can support the flow and you also have to make sure you keep a good air/fuel ratio, otherwise you'll end up running rich, so a good FPR would be a reliability mod for that if you don't already have that.

Also be careful with 2nd gear launches, you're more likely to burn the clutch up doing that. Try launching at 2,000-2,500 rpm in 1st and ease into the throttle to hold traction, and be careful not to break traction if you clutch kick into 2nd. It's all about throttle and clutch control.

What is your 60' looking like? Maybe use that money to get yourself a pair of slicks.
