Hey guys, just had a quick question. I have found a bit of info on this type of question but did not find a true answer for what I'm looking for. The parts listed on my profile are what I have so far, I am still building the engine etc. (I will have ALL supporting mods needed) My question is, for my set-up, what size piston bore is appropriate for my goals. I am going with the wiseco pistons, however I am debating to go stock, 20 over (.020), or 40 over (.040); also wondering if there is any real difference. My goal is for the car to be a very fast street car, however I do run the quarter mile around 2 to 6 times a month and would like to be in the 11's. Probably want to run as much as 26 psi (tops at the track) and around 400 to 500hp max. :thumb: (It is a daily driver) Also, if I could fit another quick question in here: what size injectors would be best for my setup. Any kind of help or experience would be much appreciated. Thanks

Typically you would just do the minimum amount of boring necessary to ensure the block is round an has no imperfections in the cylinder walls. I would say .20 over should be sufficient, but you should take that up with whomever is doing the machine work. As far as injectors go, you have DSMLink like me, so just get some 1000cc injectors and tune them to run like stock with the DSMLink. You shouldn't have to upgrade those ever, unless you go all out and do something really crazy with your setup.
 
The size of the overbore should be dependent on how much needs to bored out of your cylinders for trueness. The overbored piston won't make much difference in performance as to a stock sized in a Forced Induction situation.
