Hey what's up everyone.Im putting together a turbo 6 bolt which is bored .40 over.I don't think I would be able to get away with using stock size rings but I'm not sure.which ones would be right?also I just put a stock headgasket on my motor and have to take it apart again but now it will be turbo.the gasket has about 15 miles on it.reuse or new?thanks for any help

I don't know if you've bought your pistons yet, but they should come with rings. Your stock rings won't work with a .040 over engine. Personally, I would reuse the headgasket but you might want to see what some other people say.

Wow.

When you buy pistons that say they're OVER...this means that they are infact LARGER than OEM. Therefore an OEM sized ring will not even come close to fitting. :ohdamn:

Can you say "BOOM?" Your car sure will.

Yes cool guy I completely understand the pistons and the block bore is bigger.had this as spare motor and want to rebuild it.just wasn't sure this is the first time ever dealing with oversized pistons.also have don't really know where to buy these oversized rings.thanks for the replies.
