You are correct my friend you do have a window 5.0-7.0 dec

here this might help

Install timing belt tension-er so center of tension-er pulley is to left and above of the retaining bolt center . rotate tension-er inward toward timing belt until belt is tight. tighten the tension-er retaining bolt without letting the pulley rotate out of position . check the belt deflection . belt deflection should be any where between 20-28" readjust if belt deflection is incorrect

here you go man this might help you out a little bit it sounds like deflection might not be correct if you need anything else let me know

this may sound stupid but are your marks all lined up ?

Billy, you wrote about mechanical timing and he is asking about ignition timing.

OP, ECMLink has two check boxes labeled ground timing connector to ECU and ground diagnostic pin, use those to lock the ECU in timing adjust mode and check your timing at the crankshaft damper with a induction timing light clamped to the spark plug wire for cylinder 1.

Since you have a 6 bolt swap, your 1G CAS can be adjusted to change base ignition timing. The values you see in your logger are only what the ECU is commanding the value to be, if the ECU is not aligned with the CAS adjustment, then your actual ignition timing could be anything. Adjust your CAS until the timing light shows ignition at 5 degrees before top dead center with those 2 boxes checked.

can i use ecmlink if i have dsmlink. also will it cause me to not have as much power because my turbo was runing at 14psi for now wich is low on this turbo but my dsmlink said it was making around 400hp but it doesnt seem to pull hard. i do plan on turning the boost up later

I have no idea what any of this means, but DSMLink and ECMLink are different names for the same thing. The name was changed to ECMLink with version 3.
