Material doesn't matter.

I use .070" thick plastic sheeting on my car. Works fine.

I have a 1G Mishimoto radiator in my 2G, and I love it. I paid $170 shipped.

I run the same one for my 2G, very blingy and works well. No issues thus far and considering investing in the slim fan kit.

I would check ebay for a deal on a used fluidyne radiator. I hate shitty chinese replica parts.
