For anyone who hasn't seen my post in the intro topic I'm from the Uk relocating to Canada (Nova Scotia). I have a 3000gt (twin Turbo) that I'm sadly selling before I move, put before I do there are a few parts I was thinking of returning to standard and removing the modded item's and shipping them over.
Question is are any of the parts any use, or are there better alternatives for a DSM
I'm looking to get a GSX/Talon AWD as I have loved having AWD in the 3000 (I have no real idea how easy its going to be to locate one in the Halifax area i would appeaciate any input)
the parts
1. Injectors... i have 650's fitted to the 3000 i understand this would be a resonable upgrade for a dsm and from what posts I've read they should be compatable(the 2 posts i found did not really confirm this only saying the standard 3000 injects are small 360
)
2. Fuel Pressure regulator... i have an FSE fuel pressure regulator I believe is the same on turbo DSM this is something that i haven't been able to confirm on the site.
3 Fuel Comp...I've been running an E-manage on the 3000 since 2005 I have got to understand it very well (the map for the 650's took forever) but the many extra options available to the DSM seem to pale in comparison so this is something I'm tempted to leave in.
4.Profec E-01 .... boost controllers always seem to be more personal taste than car specific but I would be interested to hear any opinions on the use of it on the dsm. The screen is a little on the big side and i did have a few probs trying to fit it in my cockpit.
5. Pocket logger.... Always considered a good bit of kit over here put from what i've seen on the forums the sample rate has been stated as quite poor. Again something I'm tempted to throw in with my sale and buy a better option when I move over.
Thats about all i think would be compatable from the car if there are any more parts that anyone with experience in this knows about feel free to point it out. Also if anyone has experiance with driving both cars i would like to hear how much better handling wise the AWD dsm is than the 3000gt. I will miss the 500bhp launches but looking forward to going round some bends
