What oil???

Hey guys I'm doing an oil change on my 4g63T what's better oil to use 5w30 or 10w30???

Use 10w-30, the 5w-30 is thin. Oh and this thread will probably get merged with another oil thread.

SAE 5W-30 may be used for operation in very cold weather areas where the lowest ambient temperature is below -10°F (-23°C).

I know this will spark some debate, just like with every other oil thread.

But I run nothing but Synthetic 20w50. Maybe 10w-40 if it's the dead of winter and the car gets started and ran at sub-freezing temps. But any other time, 20w50 all the way.

+1 on 20w-50 Brad Penn is great oil. But I also make 100+hp per cylinder. So if this is a stock DD, I would go with a 10w-30 or 10w-40
