Why would "coolant temp", "charging" and "brake" warning lights come on at low intensity? Sometimes these three warning lights come on and are very faint, then they turn off, then they come on at 3/4 brightness, then they flicker and/or go off again. When i lift the hand brake and the "brake" light is faintly illuminated, it goes on full brightness and so do the other two at the same time.. coolant temp and charging light... but not always! Sometimes. It is all random but it's always these three lights acting together.

The "seat belt" light acts on its own... when the seat belt is not used, sometimes the seat belt light is ON full brightness and then turns OFF.. and then comes ON again.

What am i dealing with...?

Typically signs of an alternator going bad.
... thank you for the tip. I noticed my battery going low but was thinking i have a ghost drain some place instead of the alternator going bad. I expected just the "charging" warning light go ON as opposed to all three at the same time when alternator is going bad.. i'll get on it

yes, ... a new alternator "fixed" the issue.. no more dimming instrument cluster warning lights, etc.

the diodes in the rectifier were acting up and leaking ripple voltage intermittently ... i measured anywhere between 30mV A/C.. to 550mV A/C on different occasions... so i replaced the alternator
