Well due to issues I'm going to be selling both of my DSMs. No time, no money. I'm going to replace them with a commuter car that I'll be using for travel to work. I need better than the 25mpg I get in my talon.

I was actually thinking about getting a 1.8L if its much better on gas than the 2.0...of course I'd have to find a REALLY nice clean one with lower miles to even get a dsm. Maybe do a cash&trade for my AWD turbo talon might be the way to go. get a 1G 1.8 or 2.0NT thats stick.

the 2.0NT get over 30mpg? what about the 1.8L?

1g 2.0 NT 5 spd gets 22 city and 29 highway
1.8 NT 5 spd gets 23 city and 32 highway

I'm sure you know but you can get 25 mpg out of a turbo AWD or a little more out of turbo FWD.
