I just got a talon tsi turbo (1st gen) and got rid of my CRX. The talon kind of came in a box and i'm going to be replaceing all fluids. A friend of mine with a 350+ hp imprezza reccomended 5w-30. Seems a little lite. My only experience with a DSM so far was rebuilding the bottom end of a friends tsi with melted bearings. I was also wondering about the oil feed line kits that move the oil feed for the turbo to right after the oil filter. Does anyone know if this causes any oil starvation issues in other areas of the engine?
I'm going to use the stock feed line for now because i don't care about my stock turbo but i do plan to swap a 16g as soon as i have the proper support. Thanks for any help you can give me.
