what kind of fpr do I need?

cool. Im going to look into those fprs.

Are you talking about the filter/feed kit or the AFPR by fuel lab? I still have an Aeromotive AFPR, but i have the fuel lab 818 filter and -6 AN to the rail feed kit.

I still got an Aeromtive because that's what i wanted, i just had to deal with a different vendor than who i bought it from to get good service so i could get it warranteed out.

EDIT: But honestly from teh quality of the filter and feed line kit, i would not be worried about anything if i had bought one of their AFPR's, very good looking and well machined pieces in my kit!

The FPR kit that Extreme psi sells seems to be a very nice well put complete kit. The only problem or question that I have about it is the Gauge. For the people running this kit, how well does the gauge perform? It seems to be that its a mechanical non water gauge. Am I I wrong?? I was under the impression that a water filled gauge was more acurate that the non water mechanical gauge and just superior to it. Whats your say on this? Didn't mean to steal the threat or anything. Also, didn't aeromotive came out with a new compact fpr? What do you gusy know about it?

Thanks

jorge.

If it's the same guage that most other vendors include in the AFPR kits, small with either white, carbon or black fase..i know that's not the greatest description. But anyway mine is okay, not jumping around too much, but it does have liquid in it.

I left it mounted right on the AFPR.

Liquid filled guages are supposed to just be more stable and readable, basically it's there to dampen the guage agains't vibrations going on around it.

Is there any problems with any of the fittings, adaptors, pieces from any of these kits? the extreme psi and import evolution. They are both great kits and I like them both but I believe that someone said that there was a slight problems with one of the fittings or something from the import evolution kit. Correct me if I'm wrong. I wouldn't want to buy any extra parts. I know that the import evolution kit doesn't come with a gauge. Thats ok. I can get one. But how does everything connect?
thanks.

:nono:The gauge with the fuel lab kit is liquid filled.

why is water filled better? Wouldnt the gauge fog up in the heat, because of the water?

As Anthony said the liquid used is not water. Either glycerin or silicone is used, glycerin being more common. Without the liquid the gauge needle fluctuates rapidly due to engine vibrations making an accurate reading/adjustment a bit more difficult. The liquid dampens the vibrations so that the needle holds steady.
