What kind of BOV is this and what do I do for an intake?

Previous owner included a 2g throttle body elbow for my 1g TB.

For starters, I am used to buying cars that are very modded already. I had no idea that the stock 1g intake to TB was like a straw.

Now that I plan on mounting the 2g TB elbow, I'd like to know what my options are (from cheap to expensive) about the intake right up to what I assume will be a stock SMIC.

Also, what blow off valve, flange setup is this?

That's a knock off SSQV on what looks to be a 1g adapter to hks flange. Stock pipe.
 
You could either get hard piping such as Dejon or a front mount intercooler kit. I don't see why the stock piping won't work? I'm a 2g guy myself but I've frequently heard of just bolting the 2g tbe as a direct upgrade. I wasn't aware any other modification was needed.

As for the bov, why not just grab an used stock 1g bov? You could sell the adapter plate alone just to pay for it
 
I am not completely sure, but I think that the stock intake tubing will be too small to use with the bigger elbow. Even if I am not right there, the stock intake tubing looks kind of cracked up.

I guess I am a little confused because I didn't know that the stock BOV was located at that same point. On my GVR4, it is located pretty far down where it is hard to see.

Any idea if there anything inherently wrong with the knockoff (especially at boost levels no more than say 16 psi)?

You'll just have to run it and find out. Do a boost leak test after installation and see if it leaks. If it doesn't let off pressure correctly when driving, I'd just sell it and the adapter and pick up an used 1G bov since it is proven.

As long as you're not surging though and your bov is functioning properly without leaks you will be fine running it.
 
That info is good, but what I really wanted to know was what sort of intake I need to run now that I have a 2g intake elbow on there. The tubing going the the 1g elbow was cracked anyways.

The 2g elbow is much larger than the 1g. I am starting to think that I should just sell the 2g elbow, put the 1g pipe back on, and get a fresh 1g pipe from TB to the BOV hard pipe.
