What kind of afpr pressure do i need, so i can buy one

Alright the other day i ordered 1050cc FIC injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, and a dsmlink v3 lite. What range of pressure will i need from a afpr? ive seen some that are 35-65, 35-75, will any of these be okay. Ill probably order one from summit.

I've owned both an Aeromotive and Fuelab units. They are very comparable in style and design. If I were to choose one for another build it would be another Fuelab, not because its superior, but because of the option to order it in different color combos.

What you'll need to set your afpr at will be dependant on how much hp you want to make. Check out this site: RC Fuel Injection All the way at the bottom of the page is the fuel injector worsheet. It will give you a rough idea of what you need to set your fuel pressure at to get a certain hp. Remember this is estimated at the crank not the wheels, but should get you close.

Also, remember that the reason to get an AFPR is to keep the pressure down to stock levels after putting in a higher flowing pump. You'll want to keep your base fuel pressure to about 36-37 psi with the vacuum line off the regulator.

Fuel lab is less expensive and at least just as effective as Aeromotive. I've had them hold pressure better after shut off than my Aeromotive.

Yes, the Aeromotive A1000 is what a lot of us here use.

You'll want to get a gauge for it so you can adjust it accurately though.
