What is wrong with this alt-relocation kit?

Hello folks, I'm trying to install this jay's racing alt relocation kit. The adjustable support bar doesn't seem long enough to reach the alternator. I also don't see how it could even get over there because of the coil-plug and the front case cover. I'm really confused. Thanks for any help.

You have the wrong one. I had this issue. Call Jay, he is really kool. He sent me out the right one on a Saturday. Was on the phone with me on his way to a meeting. I had the one for a 2g, or 7bolt I needed the one for a 6bolt.

I sent the pictures to Jay Racing and it appears to be the 1G Saturn relocation kit...

Yeah it arrived here on Saturday. Although the bar is longer, it still looks like it's going to hit the coil plug. Can you tell from the pictures?

I had an issue with mine because I don't have power steering but I still use a mitsu alt. I just moved my coil tho.

Coil is uptop on the intake manifold. What your looking at is the power transistor. Just unbolt it and move it to wherever you want.

Oh sweet. Is the belt the same for the different kits? Ill have a chance to install it on Thursday. Thanks for the replies.
