what is this seal im missing? 7 bolt

this seal blew off as i was driving home, with oil everywhere under the hood. i need to know what this part is called so i can get a new one thanks. its on the opposite side of the motor from the cam gears, next to the intake and thermosate.

I've never seen that before, pretty amazing. What kind of driving were you doing at the time? How many miles are on your cam seals? Do you know what your oil pressure was?

Seems odd that it just "blew out" you should look into why shot out
