i had it on my 98gsx auto it was like drilled in next to the fuse box, alarm??

looks like a valet switch to an alarm.

Yep that looks exactly like a hood alarm switch to a viper alarm system, I wonder if the previous owner left all of the other viper alarm crap in there too, if the person did you could find the odds and ends and have yourslef a viper alarm system for the fraction of the cost. Of course assuming all the rest of the anti theft system is still there.
