what is the size of the cone filter for 2g replacement of factory airbox

So my cone filter is very very dirty but it came like that everything is stock on the intake other than the cone filter. So I was wondering what size filter I need to buy to fit it on there I was thinking of going with AEM of K & N and I was thinkg its 4in or 4.5in if anyone could let me know the exact size that would be great. Oh ya also its a 2g 95 tsi awd

It depends on your adapter size. There are 3, 3.5, 4, and 4.5" adapters. Get a tape measure and measure it.

I dont think there is an adapter, and if there is I don't really notice and everything else is stock but i'll take a look thanks!

If so, it's the K&N FIPK for the DSM.

You should be able to get a filter cleaner kit that includes a cleaner and new oil for it.
