ok, ive been really busy in school and i cant think straight about my car right now...
i keep confusing myself...

what is the highest boost i can run my t25? and what all will i need to get it to run that
high without hitting fulecut?

i will be getting the e316g but it wont be for a few months.

i have:
-mbc
-uicp w/ ssqv
-intake
-3" turbo back
-anything else should be on profile...

Who cares if you hit fuel cut. The question should be how much boost can I run safely without getting detonation.

If you do not have a logger to see your timing pull take the MBC off and save your motor the trouble. Once you get the logger the timing will tell you what you can boost.

T-25 will only be efficient up to 16 psi. I would set it at 14 psi to leave room for a little creep. Anything more than that it just makes hot air. Jayrolla's advice is very true, whenever you turn up the boost you should have a logger to make sure you are not knocking. Although at 14-16 psi on the t-25 you should be fine, it's up to you to risk it.

The T25 will make lots of heat way before you should hit fuel cut. 15-16 psi is about the max for the t25, or your just making heat. Without a logger you won't know 100% but with that turbo those boost levels shouldn't be a problem on the stock fuel system. Now when you get the evoIII, thats another story as you will more then likely max out the stock fuel system at those levels, ie don't run that much boost once you upgrade. For the evoIII I'd recommend 14 psi max, which is safe for most vehicles (like I said every vehicle can be different so this isn't 100% guarantee, only way to know for sure is a logger).

ok well im getting a laptop tonight, so my next investment will be dsmlink.

is there anything i can do with tuning the stock system to gain noticable results?

also should i get a wideband before i get any bolt on's or should i just get the evo3 and run low boost till i get fuel mods.

As good as DSMlink is, I think it is unpractical to spend $600 on an aftermarket EMS when you have basically a stock car. For instance, according to what you've posted and your profile, you don't even have an aftermarket boost gauge yet. Thats one of the most elementary supporting mods. You need to get an aftermarket boost gauge before you even think about buying DSMlink.

As long as you have the T25 on there, you will always be hampered... there is really not much you can do.

I wouldn't drop money for a wideband considering where your car is at right now. A datalogger will suit your needs just fine.

sry i guess i need to update my profile...

i have boost, oil psi, and water temp(sence the stock guage stoped working)

i want to get everything i need for when i put a bigger turbo in down the road.
im getting the big 16g, and after that i want the fp3052(it will be a long time before i get it)

but anyways i want to make sure i have everything i need to suport that(fp3052) but i want to build my car up to the point that i can put the FP on it.

so i was going to get the 16g and learn how to tune and build up a 6bolt for the 3052

I say start out getting a front mount and a logger, then do as everyone else says boost wise with the t2 small .

After that get your fuel pump, and injectors and something to control the injectors,
and then put the e316g on and crank up the boost for real.
Just my two cents.
