What is my paint code [Merged 12-6]

Chances are the rest of the car has a little fade to it anyway. The paint code would get you close but a painter with a good eye could match a paint much better. Remember, your car is 15yrs old now and the weather takes its toll.

Looking to get a few things sprayed on my car and im having trouble determining what exactly my paintcode is and its worn away on the firewall. its a 92 talon tsi awd. I touched some spots up with sophia white W83 and it looked close but not positive if its the exact match.

and a bright white W12.

You should be able to call the dealer and find out what color the car is. Just make sure you have your VIN handy and they should be able to look up the color.

Just look on the firewall on the plaque that says "DSM" at the top. It should be right in the center. It should have your paint code on it. Or, you can try looking around the door frame on the driver's side when you open the door. There's a sticker.

I honestly don't know, but I would think that they are correct......Oh, wait we are talking about the dealer. Unless your car was repainted before you got it with another color of white.

In my first post i noted its to worn to read at the firewall.. i didnt check the door jam tho.

cleaned up the plaque and it says Exterior color trim: W12 which is still bright white. according to paintscratch.com
its W12/PW7 so dealer was actually correct for once

Found this, looked at mine, and it says B02.... which doesn't appear to be any paint code I looked for on those match paint sites, like (http://www.autovisuals.com/paintcode-search.asp)

Can anyone help me? All it says is "ASH" and no color code.
I'll take a picture of my tag if anyone needs me to.

I've looked everywhere for this paint code, my label is faded under the hood and the dealer can't pull the code from the VIN. I'm hoping someone with the same color can take a few minutes to check their car for me. And yes, I already checked all the sites online trying to match something, I want to know the code for sure.

Yeah, I looked at that first. It's just so hard to tell from that, it would be more of a guess than anything. I'm pretty sure I figured it out, someone posted a very helpful link on my original thread I started before I was re-directed here.

I found my code and thought I would post up a little tip. I was trying very hard to make out the code, I was pretty sure I knew what it was but wasn't positive. I got my camera out and put it on the magnifying mode and took a few pictures. I took one from the top and sure enough, it was very readable. Here are a few pics.

Can someone verify this color? It's a '95 Talon and I believe it's "Wild Berry Pearl Metallic Clearcoat". And would that be P75 or R75?
