I have a 1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD (manufactured Aug 92) thats black in color, I can't seem to find the sticker inside my door jamb that would give me the factory paint code....anybody out there have it? It looks like the previous owner may have peeled it off or something. Thanks guys

EDIT: If you click the images, it brings up a bigger pic, and the name of the color. From there you could maybe type the name of the color into a google search or something, and you might get it. Sidenote; im gonna see if I can get my paint code.

I looked under the hood at the metal plate on their but its so faded i can't really read it, what it LOOKS like is X13, does that sound right?

just like the title says, im getting my c/f hood painted but the car is about 100 miles away and i cant get to it to read the paint code. my friend who is painting the car needs the number as soon as possible so he can order the paint- please help me out if you have a black 95 tsi
thanks

The paint code is on the driver side door jamb. Also, I repainted the bumpers, wing, hatch, side skirts, rear quarter panel general black. I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money on whatever the OEM paint was, so I just got black. IMO, black is black...I can't tell a difference between stock and aftermarket paint on my car.

yea i know where the paint code is... its just that im 100+ miles from the car, and need the paint code tonight.

Here are the paint codes for a 1990 talon...I'm gonna go run out and check my black 95.
Light Gray H18
Red R11
Dark red R16
Turquoise blue T13
Dark blue T81
White W12
Black X13

I'm about to get some 97-99 side skirts w/end caps painted and I read that plate on the firewall which says the color trim is W40. I did a search on that and came up with nothing. I may be reading it wrong because it is pretty faded but the 4 is pretty distinguished. Now, I don't want to order the wrong color and waste a bunch of money on it, so should it be the W12 or what? I'm stumped on this and I searched for a while. Thanks.

I am getting my 95 front bumper replaced due to a waks tow job. Luckly the towing companies is paying for it. Neways my car is a 95 white gsx and I have the paint code at the body shop so I will try and post it on here today or tommorrow if I can get down to the shop. It should be the same as the 96.

I just looked, my white 96 Talon is chrysler PW7 as well.Mistu might call is something else, but if you tell the paint store/body shop PW7, they will know exactly what color you are talking about.

Do the talons have the same paint code as the eclipses? Also, when I put my 2gb front bumper on, it looked slightly off in color, a little grayer, but it may be my imagination though. I'm pretty confused about this whole thing. Some say w12, others pw7, and what looks like w40 on my firewall. I just don't want to order paint and have it be wrong.

I was just going by the codes on my white 98 GSX and my white 96 Talon.I guess it wouldn't suprise me if they use multiple whites, I wouldn't know why, but it wouldn't suprise me.Also even though the codes stay the same, OEMs do alter the color over the years and the same color sprayed at different paint facilities can be slightly different as well.Having worked at a body shop for lots of years, using paint codes is not a very accurate way of matching paint.Take your car, or part of the car, and have it matched
