which paint code is this?

gettting my 1991 Eagle Talon painted and the body shop is having trouble trying to scan match my paint. The paint code on the Firewall is rubbed off. The silver / grays available that year are (in order from lightest to darkest):

- PA4
- PD2
-PS8

It's difficult to judge from the photos, but it appears that the PS8 would be too dark; I'd say yours is either PA4 or PD2.

I was at work when I posted that- I grabbed my good 'ol '91 PPG Chrysler Imports book and those were the only silvers / grays that were listed. It doesn't specify models in my book- just the codes and the colors that were used on '91 Chrysler Imports.

I'll look tomorrow on the PV2 code.

EDIT- 3/11: In the Chrysler Imports book for 1991, they have PV2 grouped with a bunch of silvers that are sort-of too beige for what the OP's car appears in the photos. The beige-silvers in my book are:

PVC- Wheat Beige Poly
PV1- Light Warm Gray Poly
PV2- Palermo Gray Poly
PV3- Light Buckskin Poly

I have a 1991 Talon TSi AWD....it looks like it is black cherry, but that is a 1990 color. The sticker on the firewall doesn't show have anything...it's beat up and doesn't have any info on it whatsoever. The sticker on the doorjamb says the car was manufactured in July of 91.

The closest thing I could find for the 1991 is Windsor Red R48/PR7. Is that what color my car is? Pics are attached (yes it is dirty)

Black Cherry is not a 1990-only color. My PPG book definitely shows it in 1991, and my buddy Steve who's responsible for getting me into DSM's owned a Black Cherry 1991 TSi AWD.

Your car is Black Cherry, Mitsu code R16 / Chrysler code PM9.

Paint codes on DSMs are usually located under the hood against the firewall on passenger side. But on my 98 Eclipse RS the paint code is smudged and can't tell what the code is. Does anyone know the factory red paint code. Here is a pic of my ride.

Try giving PaintScratch Touch-Up Paint (rs), Spray Cans, Spray Paint, Paint Pens, Car Paint, Automotive Paint a shot, they're usually on point with paint codes.
