:hmm:

(1G block) '90 + '91 Vs. '92-'94

After reading the crankwalk theory article on Magnus' site where two 4G63 blocks are dissected for comparison (a 1G and a 2G), I just wanted to know whether there in fact was any differences between ONLY the '90 + '91 Main Journals Vs. the 1G Main Journals of a '92-'94 block? as it states in the middle of the report...

"(90-91 have larger main journals)".

Many thanks for the replies!

Well 90-91 were all 6 bolt engine split girdle bigger thrust bearing and main. late 92-94 were 7 bolt engines with full engine girdle which had smaller thrust and main bearings as well as smaller rods. Is that what you are asking?
