what is happening

so heres my 3 month situation. it all started from a turbo gasket leak and a bad camshaft position sensor wiring problem. the ground cable detached from the camshaft position sensor. i re wired the wires, bought a new connector, put a new turbo gasket on, with a new manifold gasket, rebuild my turbo, and installed a aluminum radiator with duel fans.
started up the car, it wouldnt idle for more than 5 seconds without me giving gas, once i gave gas it kept ideling, horribly, but ran. had a broken fuel line which i also replaced. car still runs like complete sh!t, shows the MAF OBDII code, doesnt build boost at all, and rpms dont rise past 3.5k.

i am starting to believe that my S-AFC somehow got messed up, or maybe the turbo rebuild affected it somehow. my maintnece mechanic doesnt know what going on either...

hopefully someone here does..
as many of u probably have experienced this DSm depression i am going thru, any help would be much appreciated, thankx everyone!

I would start with the simple stuff first, plugs,wires? i don't think the turbo should keep it from running in anyway.double check your wiring on the cam sensor plug, check for output voltage(not sure if 2g is the same as a 1g but i believe it should be sending 5v). The cam sensor itself? Timing?......

It is showing the MAF code? Have you tested a different MAF? A bad maf would cause crappy idle.

make sure the turbo is actually spinning. check for shaft play also.
and check the maf with a known working one. a bad maf will put the car in limp mode which means super
rich air fuel ratios.

If its giving the maf code then you should start with that.

double check everything and start with the small stuff. but if its throwing a MAF code then it could have something to do with your A/F ratio

A bad turbo won't cause it to not run or idle. The only thing that could potentially affect it would be an exhaust leak causing an improper reading for the front o2 sensor.

just throwing it out there.. but a major boost leak will make it do that too. like the i/c pipe came off. my dsm and my pt cruiser did that on the track before. it scared me.

o, and it will throw a code if its bad enough to make the car run like it is.

You mentioned you think your safc might be a problem. If the airflow wire that's spliced in came disconnected that would probably throw the maf cel. I would double check the safc install and go over all the setting. Maybe It got reset?
