For you guys that have a 1g and run after market intake systems what kind would you prefer? And will a 95-99 intake system work fine on a 1g?

Thanks for any feedback.

To my knowledge the 2g (95-99) won't work because your not running a 2g mas.

I'm looking at the product with the 1g MAS and I can get it with or without the BOV tube. Does it matter which one? I have a stock BOV but i will be getting an aftermarket on soon.

You need the blow off valve tube. Its the tube that recirculates the air from the BOV back into the intake.

Unless you plan to vent :-/

Get the one with the bov tube. Because if you do end up venting to the atmosphere then you can always just "CAP" the tube with something that way you can vent. If you get one without the tube you can't make it recirculate.
:)

Snatch you up a 2gmas and buy the one for a 2g mas.
The site has all the info tho.
Goodluck!

Very good combo IMO.

Do you have a 14b or 16g turbo? I have a 14b turbo and plan on gettin a 16g this summer but at dejontool they say that the 2 3/4" barely clears the wastegate actuator. They say the 3" will work with the 20g or any Garrett turbo. Is that true or can I go with the 3"?
