So when I bought my car 2 years ago there was a sensor in the back of the engine bay that was never hooked up so I thought I didnt need it. Well now that I am building the talon I took it out and looked at it and it says "DENSO Sensor 949940-6110" I tried searching all over to find out what this is so dose any one know what this is?
 
Let me guess, between 2 and 3, about an inch below the mating surface?, looks like

so what is it used for and do I need it? and if I need it were in the world do I hook it up
 
its used for sensing pressure (MAP, manifold absolute pressure). I'm assuming that it would go to a vacuum source on the valve cover.
