What headgasket should i use ?

Yea both resurfaced , it's for a dd has a small Garret prob gonna push 20psi

The Mitsubishi mls gasket would be my choice then.

Just run OEM MLS if you're basically stock unless you have a built machined block.

It's the stock bore , but forged pistons and rods. Will that still work ?

since you have the option to run a MLS gasket i think its important to check how much room you will need for piston to valve clearance. This will dictate the thickness of the MLS. You may not need it to bee thicker than the stock thickness but its good to be sure.

If his block and head heaven't been resurafaced several times, he won't have to worry about clearance.

Just use the OEM MLS since your head and block have been resurfaced. Throw in some ARP head studs and call it a day. I ran 35 psi on that setup with no issues.

OEM MLS or even composite will hold up to that. ARP studs are a must
