planning on running bigger injectors and a more aggressive tune (850s or more)

currently had problems with a slipping clutch, recently dropped the tranny and found a warped fidanza flywheel and stock clutch with pretty nasty abuse. (that explained the slipping!!)

i'm looking at an XTD stage 4 unsprung 6puck off ebay , i have heard good things and bad things from them and they are very cheap.

for my power goals should i be ok if i purchase the xtd stage 4?

i also want a reliable clutch with no slipping, not looking to spend a whole lot.
for my flywheel, ill be slapping a stock one on.

T3/T4 is a platform for a wide variety of applications. So that really could mean 300 HP clear up to 800 HP depending on its size. However with 680CC injectors you aren't going very far. I would stay away from un-sprung pucks. They are very harsh to drive, chatter a lot, and the sintered iron or sintered copper pucks generally won't last as long as a full face disk. For your power levels a standard Centerforce Dual Friction will work just fine and its got a fairly light pressure plate to help save your thrust bearings.

With the puck clutches it depends on what kind of driving you plan on doing. Since it says daily driver you'd probably want a sprung 6 puck to reduce chatter and to make for an easier engagement

I'm having to replace my clutch now I'm going to be going with the competition 6 puck sprung stage 4with a Fidenza flywheel. I've heard good things about this setup. Be sure to research just like anything else.

What kind of power level are you aiming for?
I just Installed a Southbend TZ-SS clutch from tmz performance, and I really like it. At this point, I am just breaking it in, but it feels really good. The pedal feel is really light - very close to stock, yet it is good for 500 ft-lbs of torque! I'd definitely check it out!

Thanks for the replies and information guys! It was all taken into consideration!
Ive driven a stage 4 6 puck unsprung (went unsprung because i dont want to deal with the springs possibly breaking) and im used to the quick engagement, daily driving on a racing clutch wouldnt be as harsh to me as it may seem.
I purchased a good deal

An xtd unsprung stage 4 6puck with chromoly flywheel for less then 200.

Ill update the thread and show pics of my old setup and new!

@Derail20T
Southbend clutch with act pp was my next option, i just didnt have much dough to spend, and finding an awd flywheel was harder than it sounds haha.

Aiming for around 300-400

Pretty sure my 50trim would limit me to that

But would definitely like to know how it goes after the break in!
