I have a 93 talon nt, picked up a 91 galant vr4 and want to put engine in my car. i have everything to do this(i hope) but want to go with 2wd. i have a tranny out of a 92 talon t but not sure what flywheel to use. tried the flywheel that came with vr4 with 2wd turbo clutch and pressure plate, doesn't seem to look right. have about 1/2' space from edge of bell housing to back of flywheel, when im pretty sure there should almost no space.

Thanks

vr4 is from japan

the flywheel that came with vr4 is 6 bolt, but your saying the 2wd turbo flywheels are thicker?

would a 6 bolt non turbo flywheel work? Also not sure what a 2wd turbo flywheel looks, any decent links to check out so i have an idea what im buying, or is it tha same look as nt one.
thanks

The diameter of the awd is smaller it wont line up with the starter on a fwd trans

The non turbo flywheel wont work and they don't look the same, the turbo flywheel is stepped, the non turbo is not.

You need a flywheel that will match your trans and crank so for a fwd turbo trans and a 6 bolt block you need a turbo fwd 6 bolt flywheel.

ok so its not stepped. great thanks for the speedy responses, have a good one

sorry i meant "is stepped" thanks
