I used the search function, but nothing seemed to really answer my question. I know for intake manifolds, there are flow numbers associated with them, or a lot of tests done to see which puts out the most power on identical setups. Is there something like that for exhaust manifolds??
I'm in the market for a new turbo and am wondering what type of exhaust manifold I should run with it. I'm using the stock 2G right now. Should I get a Turbonetics T3/T4 manifold? A SBR ported manifold? Or just port the hell out of the 2G I got now? Which will flow the best? I realize I have to get it to match up with the turbo (T3/T4 manifold for the turbo, Mitsu manifold for Mitsu turbo, etc), I just want to know which flows the best.
My apologies if this question/topic has been discussed. If it has, just point me to some threads and I'll read up on my own. Thanks!
