what do i need for 400hp

the car i am purchasing in about 2 weeks is going to have some mods already on it, it is a 95 gst. it has boost and egt guages. it currently sits at 10 psi, now i know i will need a front mount and a new clutch, but what else will i need to reach 400hp... and that is about the limit on the stock motor right... im sure ill need a good tune also.... what do u suppose hp-wise am i making right now/

i basically have everything you do - the dp, and fancy boost controller, but my baseline run on the dyno completely untuned was 172........yea thats what i said too. You'll probably be around 250-275whp at 15-16psi if its tuned correctly.

I'll bet that greedy exhaust sucks a lot of air away from your engine. Man those greedy evo's.

sucks air from my engine, isnt that a good thing... im thinking with a good front mount, and tune at like 20 some psi that i could push well over 350hp... anyways untill then what is a good psi to set my turbo at that wont heatsoak my intercooler... the 50trim is pretty big so shouldnt that mean at 15 psi it wont really be pushing out hot air/

Oh boy...that was a funny one...busted a gut..but I have to clarify. It's Greddy--not greedy...any parts that are greedy...won't work well with the rest of your car and won't share anything...even exhaust.

Don't feel bad, english isn't my wife's first language and when we got married she sent an e-mail to everyone at work telling them about the great "weeding" that we had!
