Ok I have a 14b turbo and the housing. I dont have the actuator, or any lines/hoses, or a J-pipe. I think thats all I need.

actuator
lines hoses
j-pipe

Is that it or am I missing something? And I can just use a 1st gen j-pipe and just oil feed, return lines? Let me know if thats right. Thanks

You can modify your water lines to work with the 14b, and you can also modify your oil return line to fit. I would suggest that you buy a stainless steel oil feed line and buy new gaskets and crush washers. Good luck :thumb:

I personally like the thought of new stuff just so I won't have to replace it later. This install kit (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...ry=33742&item=7974656223&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) on ebay is a great buy and ALOT cheaper than the rip off that some of the vendors are selling them for. No you don't NEED everything in this kit you can piece it together but for the little extra money you can have added relief of some new gaskets and such, and that jpipe is very nice in it too. :thumb:

I installed a 14b in a 2g with little more than some 3/8" hose for water line. Take the water inlet line on the turbo and cut it in half so the line opening faces the front of the compressor housing. The stock oil feed also works like a little bit of massaging as it's bend to go to the head will hit the waterpipe housing. A SS feed line would definitly help on the oil feed. Also the stock oil feed to the T-25 is off the oil filter housing and we just kinded off the old line and J-B welded it.

For the I/C piping we cut up the stock 1G lower IC piping and used an exhaust coupler to attach it to the stock 2G lower IC pipe. I don't remember the sizes but you can figure it out.

You said you didn't get the lines with the tubo. I would either try and get the lines and you can do the above or you can spend the money and get an install kit or get creative and try to monkey up something else using your stock lines if they fit.
