Just got done headgasket. It blew between 3 and 4. I didnt get a misfire code, and it was a bad misfire as you could imagine. Doesn't that mean my knock sensor could be bad? Makes sense, but it doesn't at the same time.

So, cleaned out my head, holy carbon batman!
3 angle valve job I did myself. Which can't be that bad, cause with all that carbon, im surprised I got as good of leakdown test results as I got. So I could only have helped. Plus I'm very surprised No valves were burnt, cause there was barely any over hang.
Cleaned and glass blasted the head.
ARP head studs, and mitsubishi OEM headgasket.
MMM fresh glass beaded intake manifold.
Cheeze wizz! My throttle body was coated with oil. It was absolutely terrible.
Replaced the valve seals.

Things I found out.
Not the stock head gasket, stock head studs though.
Defiantly jumped timing with a previous owner. Because there were replacement valves in it, as well as some small marks on the pistons.
A few cracks in the head casting around 2 valve guides. Probably why Im burning oil. But Nothing I can do, the head had to go back on. I never had a problem with oil and coolant mix.

All in all, runs like a raped date!
However, I know I'm going to be beating my self about using that head with those little cracks. Any in put on this?

I plastidipped my whole DSM
I added about 10lbs to the weight
I stared at the sexiness of matte black

Got 1/2 a yard of headliner fabric so I could redo the visors.
1st took the old fabric off the visors

Used a body saw to cut the visors so they could be opened all the way up

Using 3m 74 spray glue for headliners and fabric. Glued 1/2 at a time since I don't have any more clipse to do it all at one time.

Attempted to do a simple fuel filter change, ended up breaking the fuel line right underneath the fuel filter cause the bottom bolt to the filter was stripped cause i'm only guessing it has never been changed. So had to drive to summit and pick up some parts to fix the line, fixed the line put everything back in (except I put the battery in backwards :ohdamn:) blew an alternator fuse  replaced that, turned on car to find out the top of the new fuel filter is leaking at the bonjo bolt :ohdamn: hopefully I can fix that tomorrow
Also took off my MAF and cleaned her real good :hellyeah:

Now all I need is to fix the fuel leak, and get a new speed sensor ..
Also find where i'm leaking oil :banghead:

I removed the stickers from my front bumper :(
Used 15 dollars in quarters at the pressure washer on base to clean my car and remove the stickers :(
I tested the ease of removal of plastidip from my hood.

As much as it wasn't my cup of tea I respected the time and effort put into it. And he mentioned that his kid kinda helped.

Thanks

Today I bought a sander and sanded the plastidip from my hood.
Also did the bumper to remove the laquer and clear residue from the stickerbomb I removed.

Currently my Gs is drying off for the final coat of plasti dip and the re plastidip of the hood.

I discovered a HUGE oil leak yesterday. Limped it to my sisters. Thought it was an oil pan gasket. Couldn't get the crossmember off so I had to bring it to a shop. THEN found out it was a rear main seal... Not a good way to be introduced to DSMs :(

I'm going today to check the connections of the MegaSquirt. Velocitápaola me has given me some tips for installation
