Oh god...as i got to the shop today and looked at my baby and said i swear I will not treat you like the prevous owner and to prove it a new engine build andill fix them bent valves from that terrible 4 teeth jump and then i hugged it.

You know that the car automatically sucks the coolant from the overflow bottle when it needs it right? You shouldn't have to manually dump it in there...

It has no return line to the rad, it's an aftermarket overflow
And it shouldnt push coolant anyway, it needs a headgasket

Well today i took every Inter cooler pipe off. cleaned the silicone, and sanded the ends of the pipes and clamped them down as hard as possible. Now i don't have to deal with the pipes blowing off. yeah!!
Put a K&n air filter on my intake picking up cold air from the ground.

Later I was driving on a normal road. I decided to take it to 3k4k5k>>> got off the throttle. pshhh... Dam that pulls hard! i decided not to shift, hmmm.... Throttle. BAM Instant 24psi 8k rpm, ! No lie it pulled and jerked harder than any mustang/corvette/camerro etc...

They have the 1G Eclipse floor-mats listed towards the bottom! They are only in black though, so I just sent them an email asking if they have them in gray to match my carpets.

Also for the people like myself that are interested in "premium" floor mats I emailed Lloyds Mats to see if they would make those for Eclipse Talon. They have branding rights to Chrysler and such. Check out the Jay Leno Video (scroll to the bottom for video) on his ZR1 Mats, these are INSANE They also do trunk carpet!

Today...

I took off my manifold, replaced the horrid gasket, both manifold to Head and Manifold to turbo. The manifold to turbo one has broken in half. No one around here had them in stock so I had to, sadly, make one for the time being. >.< I also retapped a hole and was able to finally put a proper stud in it. Everything bolted up and it sounded SO much better. Boosts smoother too.

Tomorrow I'll be looking for a way to mount this 1G TB that I picked up. ;D

Also got an email back from Lloyd Mats. They don't have chrysler rights to repro the eagle emblem. So no mats from them. Looks like I'm stuck ordering from Brazil.

That sucks, I dont envy you people that live in the snow. Ive seen some DSMs that you cant even drive because they've been rotted so bad... really sucks seeing that.

Cleaned my side mount(oil inside/ blown turbo i hope) . Drove next to a sheriff officer with my car blowing out blue smoke like there is no tomorow. Smiled and drove up my drive way. Oh and about to look for a t28 and order ngk wires.

I spent today replacing both calipers in the rear and rotors. Damn that parking brake is a bi***.
