So as I was cleaning my block surface up today I noticed that a valve dropped through my number 4 piston which was down at the time I pulled my head, thus why I didnt notice it.

So I figured I would call around and look for short blocks locally. What cars had the g4cs?

Also what cars if any have a 6 bolt 4g64?

Looking on wikipedia I noticed that the 4g64 was available in some Hyundai cars. Would that be a g4cs?

4g64 Applications

* 1987–1990 Mitsubishi Sapporo
* 1988–1996 Mitsubishi Van
* 1990–1992 Mitsubishi L200
* 1990–1996 Mitsubishi Mighty Max
* 1986-1998 Hyundai Grandeur
* 1993-1997 Mitsubishi Chariot
* 1994–2003 Mitsubishi Galant
* 1996–1998 Mitsubishi Magna
* 1994–2006 Mitsubishi Delica
* 1996–1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse
* 2000–2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse
* 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander
* 2005 Mitsubishi Zinger
* 1989–1991 Hyundai Sonata
* 1990–1992 Dodge Ram 50
* 2001–2005 Chrysler Sebring/Dodge Stratus
* 2004–present Brilliance BS6
* 2008–present Chery V5
* 2006–present Great Wall Hover

Everything I am finding with google is g4cs stroker builds not the actual cars the g4cs came in.

I started looking for a 6 bolt 2.4 crank and all I have found so far is 92 and older Mighty Max and Expos. You can go on to Autozone's website and order a reman for $180 plus tax if you have a core. That doesn't seem too bad overall. Probably what I'm going to do unless I can get a killer deal on a crank that doesn't need work.
