Hey guys, I finally got around to pulling the cams off the parts Talon, and I’m curious if anyone knows what cams these are? I’ve never seen stock 1G cams that look like these but I don’t see any other markings either. Anyone recognize them?
Intake cam
Exhaust cam
The head has a full Crower valve train in it. Not Brian Crower but Crower. Springs, retainers, etc.
Any help is appreciated! I don’t have a micrometer so I can’t measure the lobes. Can I use a tape measure?
Edit - I'm not gonna mark the thread resolved, but after some more digging I think these are the "JDM VR4" cams which are marked differently than the USDM cam, but appear to be identical profile wise. Sad day. Unless someone else pops in and corrects me. Bummer, I was hoping these were aftermarket jobbers.
