What are the best gauges

It amazes me that your a DSMr because we are the poorest, cheapest bastards around. Get some damn auto meter s and be done with it. Get some defi's if you felt you havent spent enough. Then mail me the change if you still feel you havent spent enough.

Looking at your pics and profile, you should have had a at least a boost gauge before you start moding. Definitely would recommend autometer. Very reasonable prices and so many styles. Your local parts store should carry most Ultralites on hand. The only down side is autometers wideband is only available in ultralite (silver faced). I personally like the autometers wide band over aem. Aem seems to jump around alot and gets really annoying.

That sucks. I bought the AEM wideband since there were limited reviews of Autometer's WB. I wanted all my gauges to match too.

BTW, they do make it in several different styles:

i personally went with Prosport gauges. I ordered them and they installed quite nicely, but my boost gauge is off a little bit which i wasnt too happy with but oh well. I went with Prosports because the price was good and they were in ST. Petersburg, Fl. and i live in Tampa, FL., so it was pretty convenient for me. Thats just my choice though, but if i had the money i would get Autometer all day long LOL.

i run autometer but my friend who owns a vw shop uses and sells stewart warner an has never had one returned

If pricing is no issue I would recommend Defi. They are very accurate and have a very clean look to them, plus you can get 60mm:sneaky: makes them alot easier to read. Just my 2 cents:dsm:

i did LOL as it was moved and i figured no1 would see it haha. its sunday i dont care about spelling today.

I have a set of Prosports in the evo and I had similar Prosports in the dsm and I wouldn't go back to the apexi/autometers that I had before.

You won't find a better quality electric gauge at such a good price.

We carry their whole line of gauges on our website :)

The link meter connects the guages and creates a"daisy chain" which is a much easier setup. The link meter runs about $100. I got one as well and am very happy with it, plus it has lots of nifty features.

do i have to link them all together? im going to get the aem wideband afr as i think its the best and so many people say the samething but i guess i dont mind 1 being different whats the display unit aswell not sure if i need or should get that aswell?
