What type of altezza's are best?

How much does that body kit help the 1/4 times? I mean, that extra weight and wind resistance has gotta be good for something. And maybe those altezza's are like sticker's - at least 50 to the wheels.

Your mods: small 16g, 2.5"downpipe, high flow cat, 2.5" cat-bac, K&N air filter, free mods, faze boost gauge, mbc.

I'm sure your SOOO much faster then all of the NT out there... right... Not to mention your car looks SO hot.

I actually think the ones on your car don't look that bad w/ the red reflectors at the corners. I also like the whole car very clean and I'm glad you chose something other than a Blitz style front ( not knocking the Blitz front bumper , I had one once apon-a-time ) Thats the Cyber front right?

If you're going black, I'd say get them in black, but don't get the middle piece. I, personally, don't like alteezas on a 2g, BUT after looking at DCsGST's set up, I may rethink that.

The thing I disliked the most about alteezas on a 2g was the middle part (with the Eclipse). If you just got the two lights on the side, the middle just looks a little out of place. If you got the whole alteeza across it just looked nasty, but that's just my personal opinion. I do like the look of altz with the middle part completely covered up though.

Just do what you want and don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.

Thanks, my center piece is actually the altezza piece. I hated it too so I painted it Black and it made a HUGE difference.

It definitely looks better painted up. What kind of paint did you use?

I roughed up the plastic with some 200 grit sandpaper, then used some Krylon. 4 coats later and it looks great. It just needs some clearcoat and it would look better IMO.

Those are good choices. When i get mine, i am planning on getting Carbon Fiber Generation 3....but that link that someone posted, i saw a pair of tail lights i have never seen before. They look sweet for clear.

Okay. Let's clear this up. His mods make the car run fast. Much faster than yours. Even a retarded weasel could pilot those mods into the 13's.

If you want to blast the looks of his specific car, then you must accept his blanket statement on a nationally available product that may or may not be on your vehicle. Even if he were attacking your car specifically, this thread is intended as a forum for differing opinions, in which case both positive and negative view points must be presented and appreciated.

Finally, non-performance does not mean items that have no bearing on tuning a car. Seats, shifters, fogs and belts are items that increase the driving experience of a vehicle, while not directly affecting performance. A seat does not increase the cornering ability of a car, it does allow the driver to keep his face out of the lap of the person beside him during a full rev, second gear switch-back. Conversely, items including body kits, tail-lights and chrome mufflers have not direct affect on the driving experience of a car and should be discussed on forums that better facilitate those converstions.
