Hi. am going to be making a custome gauge cluster for my 2g. I am moving my radio to the glovebox and in its place i am going to put 5 gauges.

A boost gauge, EGT guage, Oil Pressure gauge, Water Temp. gauge, and a Water Pressure gauge for my alky injection.

In the stock gauge cluster i am going to put a 10,000rpm tach, a new speedo, and a fuel level gauge along with my wideband gauge.
- Can I just hook up the tach wire to the ecu rpm wire?
- How do i hook up the speedo?
- What ohm fuel gauge do i need?
- Can I just wire a small LED for the check engine light and the water temp
light? If so how?

Thank you for the info.

Actually I had made one . I started with a stock gauge cluster I bought off e-bay mainly
for the housing. After I gutted the housing I took a digital photo of it and placed it on a floppy disc. With that and the bezel I took it to ValueCAD and had them make a CAD file drawing of the pattern to my specifications. After that it went to Hanset Stainless and was loaded into their CNC machine to be laser cut. Then it went off to be powdercoated. Modifying the housing I think is where most of the my work was in.
The LEDs are from http://www.oznium.com they have prewired 12 volt LEDs with nice holders at a good price. As far as wiring up the Speedo I have not got that far yet. With the tact autometer makes a tact adapter for the C.O.P ignition (coil on plug) of which I think our cars have if I`m not mistaken. These links may be of help to you.

Autometer makes a universal Fuel Level Sender #3262 to go with their carbon fiber series gauge face#4716 in my case.
