I just had my timing belt changed, balanced shaft changed, and a handful of other tune-up type things done. I'm not sure, but my timing might be off. What are some signs of bad timing? Thanks!!

Bad idle, hard starting, no power, etc... You shouldn't guess about timing though, just grab a timing light and check your base timing, it should be at 5deg BTDC.

I have issues too after changing my timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley and so forth today.

The car simpy will NOT idle. Even when cruising and I push in the clutch for a second or two, the car sputter and sometimes dies. A little embrassing at stoplights. Once you're on the gas, it's fine though.

It seems a little preventative care is going to cost me a lot more. What could it possibly be? Could it be the new idler pulley? I'm starting to get frustrated with this car.
