Actually like I said I do know how to work on cars and I have worked on them before. I picked what I wanted on this car and had it installed. My future brother-in-law is the shop who installed it and he has helped me learn about most of the DSM stuff on the car. Like I said I worked on Fbodys before this so I am still learning my car. Honestly it's not that difficult working on these cars. I did help my brother-in-law put the block in because he needed help and could not do it by himself. Hey, thats kinda like what you did SIU.

SIU, are you trying to draw attention away from yourself by attacking my mechanical skills? I do know more about working on these cars than you do considering I did help Jason do half the mods to his car but thats a GSX. Also I do know that 3" exhaust was one of my first mods that came with the new turbo and was done at the same time. Don't start shit with me because I have to work and cannot take the time to do all the labor myself. Maybe if you spent more time working at your job and less time putting second rate parts on your car you would not be sitting here bitching about 50 bucks to race at the track. Don't you have some brake rotors that need painting red, or stickers to put on your car? As for me going to the track I prefer to spend the money on taking my girlfriend out and having a good time and not sweating her ass off while I stroke my ego at the track. Yeah I'm going to go to the track when I get the time but right now my relationship and my job come first.

Finally why does it take you almost a whole day to respond with all your smart ass coments? Is it the fact that your fixing that POS or the fact that you have a team of your buddys helping you come up with your weak ass witty remarks?

You had one set of friends put your turbo kit on your car and when you were finished with them you moved on and had another set of friends build your motor. Now your here taking all the credit for that too. Rather than just put up the numbers you chose to talk shit like a little baby and still yet we have no numbers.

hey mavisky, your times see a little odd to me. if youre running 16psi of boost and only running a 9.2, then i think thats odd. cause i ran it in 9.03 on about 8psi of boost with a spike to 13.. something like that. not near as much boost but faster. i quess the difference comes in because of our difference in mods.

the thing you need to remember is compression difference and the different conditions i was facing.

since i have an actual 1g turbo block in my car i'm still running the stock 1g 7.8:1 compression pistons. so i'll naturally be forced to run more boost to make up.

the other problems i have are an open diff and blown shocks. serious weight transfer issues ensue (on the first run i was spinning in second the whole way on a prepped track) and when the weight does finally rest on my tires i'm only running 205/55 eagle rsa's. not the drag racer's choice exactly.

as for the run at the shootout everything was working really well except for the turbo. i wouldn't even see 16psi until well over 4500rpm. and on top of that the weather outside and the exhaust leak only got worse. hell by the end of the day i was in the 15's because it was hovering over 100 degrees in the staging lanes.

Well that sucks man. Well Baker don't assume all of us are like that. See if you can get him to come back or at least think about it. Not all 420a guys are like this I promise. Granted I'm not one of them but I do know there are a lot of cool 420a people on this board. And just so 2fast can't be a smart ass :) there are quite a few who have actually made it into the low 13s as well. Like I said I tried to put a stop to this before it went this far but that's what happens. You tried to warn him as well. That's one reason I don't post here a lot.

Hey man, im not a bully, id like to think that i help out a lot of people from this place with their 420a. I get phone calls at my house, aim messages, pm's, emails from people asking me questions about what to do or how to do something. If someone is going to be a dick to me, then im going to jump right back. You were the first person to screw with me without even knowing the full situation dealing with siimports. You were out of line. I let it go, but since then you feel its your place to start shit with me. So boo hoo if one of your friends leaves the site, I could care less. :cry:

Actually I'm not real clear what your talking about but I'm sure from reading your post here that if anyone was in the wrong it was you. You have proven on more than one occasion that you are a jerk and that are rude to people. Actually I came on this thread to try and diffuse it and you turned it around on me! I'm not normally a jerk, but if you want me to be I can. I don't see what you could be telling the people who call you to give them advice when you have enough trouble keeping your own stuff working right. I would take advice from you about as serious as a reading from Miss Cleo.
 
I have no problems keeping my system running. I run through problems with changing the system sometimes, but I get through it without a problem. Id like to see you do half the shit I have in the last 2 months.

BTW don't you have a website to fix. If your so for the 420a cause then why is it that your website is always down? Is the same shop that is building your car building your website as well?
 
Nope.. actually I took the site down temporarily so I could build a new server. I dont like the one im on, because i plan make a very extensive site that will hopefully have a bunch of users and the current server wouldn't be able to keep up after a few months. Why are you continuing to attack things? Keep them coming, youll run out soon enough.

Actually I have nothing to prove to you because I managed to pull 14 flat and that was before the new turbo. What do you have? Oh that right you don't have a timeslip. Here we go back to the beginning.
