it's basically bypassing throttle body coolant lines, blocking of egr valve with a plate, removing honeycomb in maf.

A good place to start is rewiring your fuel pump. Replace the stock wiring with 10 ga.

They are mods that are free.....as in don't cost anything to do if you have basic tools already.

It keeps hot exhaust gases from being recycled into your intake.
