i came up on these .020wesico pistons. my block needed some new pistons. i was going with evo pistons but i thought about it and went all forget pistons

they will be press fit on the rods, if you went to the expense of forged pistons, you may as well save a bit more and get H-beam rods

+6541123 with everyone else. The 2g piston is good and the 2g rod will give before the piston. Better to use 2g piston and upgraded rod. I know someone that was making 500hp on nippon pistons, which are as close to stock as you can get.
My advice is rods first. Nippon pistons if on a budget. Eagle rods are rated at 900hp as the email I got from them stated. Scat rods are rated at 500-550 according to extremepsi. All depends on what kind of power you want to push.

Ive been at 450 crank hp on Nippons/ 6-bolt rods for 6000 miles, I can attest to their power handling.

6bolt rods are a lot stronger than 7bolt rods.
