Were can I get a 1g big sidemount?

I'm in the market for a 1g big sidemount intercooler,does anybody have any ideas or know were I can get one at?

I dont think any vendors carry these anymore, I also think they stop fabricating them.

There is a huge amount of FMIC available for the dsm market, so the sidemounts really faded out. Plus the FMIC allows for better air flow through the intercooler, without creating custom air ducting.

You best bet is to look in the classified ads, call up some dsm part out vendors, see if any cars they have had one on it. I know they are still out there, there have been a couple on the classified ads within the last year, I believe a Dejon Big SMIC at one point.


If you are not working on a budget, call ETS and have them fab a custom one up for you. If you look at there audi sidemounts I am sure they can use a similiar core, or an even bigger one.

Is there any particular reason you want a side mount?

It seems like theres so many options for front mounts and they are SO cheap i can't see why someone would have to have a side mount unless you need it to stay in a specific race class, or to surprise people on the street, maybe?

Trust me just get a fmic because I tried to do the same thing and get a big smic but I gave into the ets fmic and absolutley do not regret it, and punishment racing has pretty good kit for not a bad price either.

I live in edmonton, alberta, canada. If you drive your dsm in the winter here you turn your fmic into a snow plow in 2 seconds flat. Bought a punishment fmic and when i mocked it up I knew it wasnt going to fly in this weather. So i feel your pain, smic ftw.

supra sidemounts are 22 bucks at my local junkyards and if you know how fliping the endtank is free.
