This is about it guys. All your input would be greatly appreciated. This will be ab build over at least 2 years prolly 3. The end result will be a hopefully sub 11 second track driven 1ga talon awd or 2gb talon awd….depending on which I find first in decent shape. No flaming please…as I am dead set and serious on this….thanks.!
These are all the parts that i have been oogling at and thinking about for years. I finally put them all together into a list to see everyones opinoin on my choices before i start ordering parts.....I want to built it right, not twice. its going to take a while so im not worried about adding more or changing things, but i want to get a final list so i dont acidentally buy the wrong thing, or buy twice. Anyways, thanks guys and input is greatly appreciated.

oh man you are gonna get flamed for posting this. A lot of the stuff you want is pretty good but this looks like a wish list that we have all seen a million times and it's usually bs. You definitely need to do some more research on some of this stuff. The following is just my personal opinion on the products you have mentioned.

You don't need pocketlogger if you have dsmlink. Dsmlink has it's own built in datalogging.

Try to stay away from the hks stuff unless you are talking cams or bov. It's way overpriced and you can get better stuff from the dsm specific vendors like buschur slowboy, etc.

Your fuel system mods look pretty good except for the Greddy injectors, you can get rc engineering injectors or bosch injectors for less money and have the same performance.

Either of the turbo's you named would be great, however you're going to hear a lot of people recomending something different. Those two turbos are proven and worth the money. The red is a little bit overkill for an 11 second car, there are guys in the mid 11's on pump gas and no nitrous with the green.

You might want to re think the apexi intercooler and bov. I personally have the slowboy intercooler and a hks bov and I love it. I haven't heard anything bad about either of them. There are much better bov's than the apexi.

The magnus intake manifold is a good choice, but it might not be neccesary for an 11 second car.

HKS cams are a good choice they are proven to make great power but the new fp2/comp cams may be worth looking into

I didn't know fidanza made oversized valves, but you should definitely take a look at ffwd connection for your engine. My cousin and I have both been dealing with them and they are awesome. JE pistons aren't the favorite of most dsm'ers, most go with wiseco or ross. Eagle rods area good choice for the power level you are looking at. ffwd also has some great cylinder heads with lots of options. You should give them a call and figure out what is best for your setup.

Drivetrain is pretty simple. Transmissions: TRE is garbage for customer service, Shepherd is definitely the way to go. He's very friendly and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of dsm's. I have the stock lsd in the rear and a quaife in the front, and I like it a lot. I have been using an act 2600 and act streetlite flywheel for about 30,000 miles with no problems at all. Some people have experienced problems with there act discs lately though. I still have traction issues but thats mostly because of my tires and my horsepower level.

Tein edfc is a waste of money if you are building a drag car. And it's still probably a waste if you are building an autocross car. Check out the DSS coilover setup, shepherd runs it.

A big brake kit isn't going to be neccesary for an 11 second drag car, but if you do plan on autocrossing then it is a must.

Apexi gauges are probably a waste of money, autometer makes great gauges at a much better price, not to mention more options in color and finish.

All of the safety stuff looks good. The carbon fiber, the fiberglass, and the lexan isn't neccesary for an 11 second drag car. If you want to buy it though go for it.

If you are getting a fuel cell you might have some trouble using a walbro 255, I don't know if you can drop one of those pumps into a cell. I'm using an aeromotive pump with my cell.

A lot of the stuff you want is pretty overkill for an 11 second car, but if thats the stuff you want then go for it. It will definitely get into the 11s with proper tuning, traction, and good driving skills. But like I said in the beginning, I think you need to do some more research, every product you can possibly think of for a dsm has been reviewed on this forum. Good luck and happy boosting

The problem with "build" posts with lists is that everyone has thier own opinion on what is the best and what isn't and all you end with is 20 people arguing over which parts are better and you don't really get anywhere. If you really want to talk it over with someone I'd speak with one or 2 people who actually have cars as fast as you want to go and ask them specifically about their setup. This thread really isn't going to go anywhere.
