weird trans problem need quick help please

So a couple months ago my car sounded like it was knocking but it wasn't when I would push my clutch in noise would stop so I thought my throw out bearring was going bad well today im driving I get on it a little and my car revs up and like I hit a wall. Well now with my car on I can move shifter in and out of gears when I press clutch in there is a grinding / whining sound. And when I try to put in gear the sound gets worse and its hard to get in gear. If anyone has any idea let me know please

I thought That maybe but why can I go in and out of gears with car running and clutch out but with clutch pushed in its hard

CRANKWALK j/k check your push rod on your clutch fork do you have an aftermarket clutch in> you might need a longer push rod I believe psi motorsports sells them

No one needs a longer pushrod. That is a bandaid to fix a misadjusted clutch pedal, not a fix.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't go into gear (defintely not a tranny specialist), I just know that it will cause that. On my NT parts car I just replaced the clutch because it would go into gear with the car off, but not with the car running. I knew it was one of the springs on the disc broken off, but I can't tell you why it went it just fine while off, but not while on.

Not a throw out bearing, your clutch is toast, if it wont go into gear it means the clutch is not engaging allowing the transmission to shift. The reason its revving so high is because your clutch isnt holding and it wont catch on the flywheel.

No v8 your not understanding it reved up because it essentially fell out of gear. It'd almost like the clutch is constantly being pushed in but its not then when I push it in and try and put in gear it whines and is hard to go in. But it still wont move. Even with car off and in gear its not engaged in gear the car still rolls. Like I said as if the clutch is being pushed in
